Electric A/C compressor

Has anyone installed an electric A/C compressor in a C3 - specifically a 1968 coupe, L79. Has factory ps and pb. No a/c.

I haven't seen one yet. I have seen complete aftermarket electric A/C kits that look promising. I think they are more of a universal thing that would require some fabrication.
