Its been awhile since I put up a thread so I'll keep it short. I'm taking the engine and gearbox out so I can do all the seals, welch plugs etc. Is it easier to take both out at the same time or seperately. Any suggestions are very appreciated.

Cheers.

I've done it both ways and prefer one at a time. I get nervous with all that weight hanging on the end of my Harbor Freight made in China cherry picker. Plus as I recall you have to remove the rad support to pull it with the trannie still on.

I do know that I pulled my engine by myself and put it back in by myself, it took less than 5 minutes both times with transmission off. Now, you might do the same with the transmission on, but more to watch for by yourself. Hooking the automatic up was a breeze, manuals are also. i would put the bellhousing on first, if manual use.
