Engine and trany weight

Would say a LS3 engine that is I believe all aluminum weigh appreciably less than a 350 iron block with aluminum heads engine? Like how much less? 20 lbs or 100 lbs or? And while I am on the subject of weight would a Tremec 5 speed manual weigh much more than an auto TH350 trany?

The 350 will weigh a hair less that 500 pounds. Google up the stats for the LS3 and check for weight. Ditto for the Tremec.
