Just replaced the intake gasket on my 93 coupe and now I need to clean some excess oil from the rear of the engine. The car will be on a lift and I'll use "Gunk" and rinse from the bottom. Does anyone have a recommendation on keeping the opti-spark dry while doing this? I won't be spraying the front of the motor but I want to be as careful as possible. Thanks in advance, Tim

Cover it as thoroughly as possible with plastic bags and shop rags or towels.

Stuff it

Stuff the cavity in front of the opti as suggested with plastic bags and rags. Think of it as putting the stuffing in a turkey:D

Thanks guys,
The cleaning appears to be a success.:) Hopefully no more oil leaks:W
