engine color

can anyone tell me what color blue the 1977 covette engine is? I tried the 6 cly blue but it is to light.

I've used Duplicolor #1609 on my 78' which seemed to match pretty close.

77 engine colours

This is what the corvette bible says from august 23rd and september7th 1976, flint engine changed from orange paint to blue thus early production 1977 models were orange, later production were blue. Nowthe bible does not say this, in australia same blue was used on some holdens straight six cylinder engines by GM ,and the colour was called Blue flame.
