Here's left and right shots of my engine. Yes, it's got red hoses and wire looms, but I like the look. Also not sure what to do with my plug wires - the guides are from "Made For You" valve cover bolts (the bolts hold down the guides) that would not stop leaking oil so I couldn't use them.

Looks nice Rich (and familiar ;) ). I like the valve covers and the T - handle bolts :beer

I like the T-handle bolts too, but I liked the original idea with the wire looms better - it had a more finished look. What are you doing with your wires?

And yes, that's my front-mount plate. I need to get a suction cup or something to hold it in place more securely. It won't easily move, but MD's law says it has to be *secure*. I'm hoping to avoid another front-plate citation (got a warning a couple years back) by actually SHOWING the plate... as long as you interpret the law to mean "front of the car" being "not the back of the car" then I'm actually legal if the plate is fastened down.

Huh. You've got the same wire holders. And yours don't leak oil? You've got different valve covers; maybe that's the difference. Mine have a depression where the bolts go that's pretty deep; maybe they're grounding out in the head and not holding down like they should. The T-handles don't leak at all...

I had a lot of trouble sealing mine initially as well, but mine was at the gaskets. I don't have the indents, but I had a set that I bought from another forum member. They came without the bolts and I had finnaly got the other ones sealed, so I just sold them. Are you leaking from the holes in the top of the covers?

With the bolts that came with the MFY wire brackets, yes - from the holes at the top. Also somewhat from the gasket. Now with the T-handle ones, no leaks anywhere.

Sorry for offtopic , but i never seen that kind of intake plenum ... Is this some aftermarket thingie ?

That's a SuperRam - designed by John Lingenfelter, sold by LPE, manufactured by Accel, and both loved and hated by owners. The full kit has that plenum, larger runners, a new manifold, and a cam.

Because to my knowledge they are very tempermental at first to get on, and running right. Am I close to the real thing Rich?

Got it in one, Vettefan87. It's a real #$()*^)(&*^$% to install and tune, but once done right it's like adding a second motor :).

Looks great, Rich! Looks so familiar, too. Interesting, that you have so much more room between your SR and the wiper motor. I have zero. I wanted to shift my motor mounts to get more but that is not a real easy thing to do.

I still don't know how to get my links to post as pics and not just links. My wires route closer to stock, but the heads are different.

The room by the wiper motor is an illusion in the picture. There's a bit at the top because of how the motor is designed, but at the bottom I've got less than 1/4". Mine's actually cracked off at that lower corner (and taped with electrical tape) so there's a bit more clearance than normal :).

I use the "insert image" tag [ I M G ] image [ / I M G] to add a picture as a picture.

I swear I tried that. Thanks...I'll try again.

I, obviously, must be doing something wrong, as you, but not I can get them to post.
