I'm hoping someone can help me identify this sensor.

Well right after I replaced my oil cooler lines I noticed another leak (puddle) -another WTF moment.

After swearing and cussing (for a moment I thought my engine block was cracked or something) - I then calmed down and started looking closer.

As it turns out I came across a sensor located (when you are standing on the passenger side looking over the engine) below and to the left of the oil filter. This damn thing was shooting out a nice stream of oil at a pretty good rate.

I'll assume this is a oil pressure sensor of some kind. Does anyone know the part number and where I can get this thing?

Thanks

if you are talking about the vertical blk thing that is your oil pressure sensor that can be bought at any auto parts store .

No the black thing below the radiator pipe to the left of the oil filter.

The technician at my Chevy dealer replaced mine last year and advised it was a real pain to get to, but he eventually got it done. Good luck! :thumb
