I found this picture today. It's a coupe but its got the graphics that you find on the Z16 Commerative Edition zo6. Also it has Euro tail lights......... so is this the Commerative Edition being sold in Europe or what?

i guess it would help if I posted the picture.

Yep. Europe only.

The NCM had a brief about it in their recent press release. Only 150 available in Europe. Get yours now and you'll have one even rarer than the stateside Z16.

Ok, so it's the Z16 in Europe. You can also see the red brake calipers........ does this car also include the LS6?? If not, does it have any other parts similar to the zo6 like maybe red fuel rail covers???

not only does the car look awsome but the way the lighting in the picture is makes it even cooler

nice photo

But, they also make a Z15 Coupe for the US.

I think the reason for a Z15 coupe for Europe is due to the non-sales of the Z06 in Europe.

Not true.
For 04, export customers can get a special option, I believe its RPO Z19, which gets them the Z06 chassis tuning with F1 Supercars in the base C5 sizes and the LS1 engine.

The reason Europeans can't have the big Z06 F1s SCs and the LS6 are various legislation in some countries that limit fender clearance and pass-by noise.

Hib,
Thanks for the info! My reply was based on looking at the German 2002 brochure which only shows the coupe and the convertible.

Hib,

We all know that the real reason why they won't sell the Z06's over there across the pond is because they don't want some good ole' fashion American hp show up the Euro boys in their own country!:L:L:L

It may be that this "Z19" RPO which consists of part of the Z06 equipment, might be available on Targas and Convertibles only. It could be that the Coupe model is not exported. To be honest, my 04 information is not clear on that one fact.

Can you get the carbon fiber hood on the Euro models???

Who says the coupe model is not exported?? I am confused the further I read through this post. The coupe has always been exported and certainly is for 2004.:confused :crazy

I think Hib may have refered to the "fixed roof coupe" of the ZO6 as the coupe and said targa meaning the "normal" coupe that we know with the removable roof piece.

Another pic. This one is from the Euro Chevrolet site. Thanks Glennm27 for posting that link. This is a good shot of the tail lights.

reubenmc is correct, I sometimes refer to the C5 body syles with the nomenclature used by GM egineer pals.

targa = coupe
convertible = convertible
coupe = fixed-roof coupe or hardtop

Sorry for the confusion.
