Evaluate 71 Coupe - Clarksville, TN

Looking for someone to evaluate a 71 coupe for sale located in Clarksville, Tenn. -- I live in Philadelphia and can not make the trip to Clarksville. Would appreciate any help/advise.

Hopefully someone will be able to help you out with an onsite inspectionbut in the meantime maybe those not local to the car can start the process site unseen. Give us whatever specifics you have about the car - options, condition statements, number, anything - and any photos you may have. We can usually begin to pick one apart, point out the right, wrong, good, bad, etc.

By the way, will this be your first Vette?

If I recall the last asking price was $15k...that is a nice looking Vette!!

One of the guys on my staff is retired Memphis Sheriff - - not a Vette guy, but he can probably extract the straight scoop on the history of the car from the guy - - JJ lives out at Bartlett Lake-- not sure how far away that is-- nice to have contacts with others that were "on the job" . . if you ever need anything here in AZ, lemme know.
Car looks nice-- the car looks close to original - - lots of paint to spruce things up, but looks well done - - is it an L-46 w/air?? I'd guess that low to mid-teens would be a very attractive price ?

I remember when the guy that bought this car originally. He did a lot of hunting and came up with what looks to be a very nice car. When I saw it come up for sale I was really surprised. Good luck on the car. I think it will make a nice car for you.
