In September 2005 I purchased a 2002 blk/lt oak A4 convertible to go alone with my '88 coupe DD. The '88 had 165K miles but was still running strong so I was going to continue to drive it as my DD.

I got so hooked on the C5 that I stopped driving (and last June sold) the '88. So the '02 is my DD.

This car is loaded except Z51/Adjustable ride control. Everything worked except the rear window defogger. I could not find anything wrong with it and I need it on occasion so I posted and followed all advice.;help

Still no fix. Damn the bad luck.:mad

So I was recently cleaning the rear window and I got fully into position to face the window and low and behold….the connector was simply unplugged from the pins on the window.

I had searched high and low, traced the wiring around, etc.:hb

So all I can say is simply ‘duuuuh’! Of course it turned out well.:D
