Who has the exact placement for the telescopic hood prop? I have decided to dump the scissors.

Well, thanks, but the '84 hood is different. There are no holes for mounting the bracket. The lower bracket requires more study, here, as the prop finally arrived as did I (back in VetteVille).Ken said:

I'd love to but I have to get the +3 operating first; maybe later today, after the FatMat goes in the driver's side.Ken said:Well, c'mon up to Ricky & Ronnie's sometime and you can measure mine.
I am not in the least ungrateful, Rich...truly. ;worship I worked on your scissors some, and it works rather well, but is a bit tight; hence it won't slid into LOCK without some help. I have to dance around the front end, gingerly, to slide-lock it before the hood falls. (what a visual!)rrubel said:watsamatta? My old cast-off scissors-prop not good enough for you?]
The 'existing' is very different on this hood, which is symmetrical. There are two unused, threaded holes on each side, but their placement will not allow the 'new' prop to fit.rrubel said:Is there clearance on the passenger side to just use the existing nuts in the hood?
