I'm aware of 2 cutouts for the c5 made by ft force or qtp. I'm having trouble finding any pics/video/audio of them installed on a c5. Let me know if anyone has them and exactly where they're welding them.

Thanks

We carry these units and so far they've been quite popular.

I don't have any Corvette pictures, but you would mount them somewhere between the cat converter and the axle pipes. You'd need two units obviously, since you have two pipes.

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks for the reply. If you do find out where people are welding them, let me know.

I installed them on my 97. Are you referring to the Quick Time Electric Cutout? If you’re interested I can take some pictures. I would highly recommend this as oppose to other exhaust systems for daily drivers. I drive the car with them wide open 90 percent of the time but it does get annoying when you want to talk on the phone or something. When they are closed it sounds completely stock.

I would love to see pictures if you can send them or post them :)

thanks for the reply
i would definately like to see pictures

where did u place them?

I dont have pictures yet but I will take some this weekend. I mounted them right behind the muffler next to the plastic well in the middle of the car. Its nice b/c I wanted the sound to come out the back of the car rather than the middle somewhere. Also you really cant see them at all unless youre sitting on the floor.

Sorry guys, havent forgotten its been a crazy week. I'll try to get those picures by monday.

Im having problems attaching the picture. I think its to big. E-mail me at Jorge33265@yahoo.com and I'll reply with the pic. Basically its a flange that has 3 bolts welded to it. Then you make a hole in the exhaust and weld the flange to the exhaust. Then all you have to do is bolt on the quick time cutout. you have to make sure the hole in the exhaust is big enough to clear the butter fly that opens and closes. I ran the cables in through the plastic/fiberglass housing thats next to the cutout. It was a real simple installation.. You have to see the pic to understand i think though.
