exhaust donut

need some help.A friend of mine has a 72 smallblock coupe he needs right side exhaust donut,two sizes are 2 inch and 2 and a half inch I'm guessing small block and bigblock right?car is bone stock.anyone know for sure?Thanks.

The 2" is correct. I don't think any C3 small block used the 2 1/2" manifolds. Stopped in '66?

And don't forget the sleeve that goes into the pipe the donut fits around. The donut won't last very long without it.

1965 was the last year any small-block Corvette used 2-1/2"-outlet exhaust manifolds.

Thanks for all the help guys!My question has been answered!I had a red 79 coupe for years but don't know much about early years.My friends vette is 1972 4=speed coupe steel-cities gray all oringinal one owner=57000miles is for sale,trying to save his house taking offers on the vette
