Exhaust Heat Shield problem

My heat exhaust shield came off in route to a car show earlier this summer. I tacked it back on with rivets but it has worked its way off again. Any thoughts on a good way to tack it back on easily? Thanks for your help!

What type rivets did you use? If you use aluminum rivets it will work loose. I would use steel rivets. Make sure they are the correct grab length. If you already did this then I have no answer.

Whats the location of the heat shield you are referring to? It's location may make a difference as to the best way to fix it.
