ia have a 91 L98 with a stock exhasut,, i think i have cat converter issue.. shouldl I be getting back pressure out of both tailpipes from each muffler,,,there are two pipes per muffler and i can only feel exhaust coming from one pipe in each exhasut....please help

On stock L98 mufflers the exhaust only comes out one side on each muffler. I believe the convertibles and some later L98's rated at 245 hp had dual working tips.

Yeah, I believe one side is just a "dummy"...just for looks.
