f41 suspension

I believe my 69 has the original rear leaf spring, and I am thinking of trying the f41 spring. Anyone out there have any comments or experience with this?

Is that the composite spring...If so that's the one I'm looking at n there supossed too be better.....360lb 4 my big block....Jerrylee///

I'm reaching back, I think standard is 7 leafs, Heavy duty is nine leafs, not composit.

Hi Muddy ....The 7's n 9's are the old steel springs n the new mono springs are made of composite which makes them lighter n stronger...I believe they only weigh 8 lbs n they never wear out............Jerrylee///

1969 standard rear spring was 9 leaves (same spring used for SB's & BB's); F41 spring was 7 leaves, and had double the rate of the standard spring at design load.
