Fan blower

I heard that a blower out of an 87 GMC van fits right into a C3 and blows much more air than the OEM. Anyone know if this is true?

I would like to know because the OEM blower is lame...

I've gotten mine to work better by making sure everything is tight and sealing it up as I put my hands on the pieces.

I need to do some work on my AC and replace the evap unit under the dash. I want to change out the blower too to get more output. The car only has 28k on it and its all orginal so, most of the systme is tight.

It's a sweet car. Mine only has 55,000 miles on it but the prior owner did not take the kind of care that yours did with it. The frame, etc., is solid, it just needs some TLC.
