Fan running on?

When the ignition is on, there is a fan constantly running. It is just to the right of the heater core and slightly rearwards. I'm wondering if this is an engine bay cooling fan (makes no sense to me) as it is blowing air rearwards into the far right side of the windshield wiper compartment as I call it.

It seems more likely that this is the heater/air conditioning fan, but the ducting is missing as I can see the fan blades plain as day. Will try to get a picture up soon.

Thats a ventilation fan,it's runs all the time that ignition switch is on!

Now to figure out why the interior fan isn't working...

It's the same fan. You may need a fan switch.

Sounds like you're missing more than just a little ducting. Picture please.

Yup it was the heater blower fan. Right now I have it on a toggle switch for all or nothing performance until I can get the new heater control plate in.
