does any one know a good qualified dealer of fikse wheels that i can access their site on the internet... also I have never done this on a car before so any input would be appreciated... my stock 1985 corvette has 16" wheels... is it ok to switch to 17" if everything is profesionally done and balanced?

thanks

Lingenfelter Performance is, among other things, a retailer of Fikse and HRE wheels.

I really like the look of the Fikse and Fikse Profile series, but at somewhat over $1K a wheel, I can only window-shop.

For what it's worth.

Check with Dougherty Automotive in West Chester, Pa. They are a Fikse dealer and seem to have some fairly decent pricing. This is a professional Porsche race shop. Visiting it alone is worth the trip. Millions of $$$ of machinery in there in some state of modification or other. This is where I got my Fikse FM-5's from.

To me, the FM-5's are the wheel that should have been on the C4 from the General. The look is verry impressive.

Check www.fikse.com. They have a modeling center there and last time I was there they had a couple C4 Vettes with those wheels.

Thanks alot you guys :cool

Eric i am really interested in those Fm5's as well... did you get a good deal on yours from that place because if the price is right i think those are the wheels i am going for...

Thank you for your recomendation mojo i have emailed noel and i am waiting for him to respond with some info
