Just finished up with the paint job a couple days before a parade and car show this weekend. Was a fun time, cant wait for some more shows. There was even a new red C6 at the show. I was able to talk to the guy who drove it there. He was one of the designers of the car i think he said. It was pretty cool, but i still like mine better :D Heres a couple pics of my car. Wasnt able to get any pictures of the show since i forgot my digital camera. :(

VERY Nice

Looks new, real nice job, enjoy it now.;)

Really looks good. White is a great color.

WHere did you get those spinners? THe ones I got dont fit my 81.

All the work done included an engine rebuild, paint job and new interior.

I got the spinners with the car, but i have seen the same ones in one of the corvette magazines... maybe Corvette Central. People really seem to like those spinners, cuz i got a comment on those at the car show.

Are those wheels the stock ones that are just really polished, or are they replacements?

Those are stock. There is actually a rediculous amount of knicks and scratches from the previous owner in them but theyre shined up real nice with some mothers mag and aluminum polish. good stuff

:eek Did you do that by hand? Or did you have some sort of rotary tool?

I did it by hand... it didnt take very long at all. I polished another set of wheels on a friends 81 with a buffer though. that went pretty quick :D

Really nice looking car....sure wish I could figure out how to post pics on here!!!

To post pictures so they show up in your post first you need to have the pictures on the web I use a photo hosting service:
http://www.villagephotos.com/index.asp
is one of many. Click on the IMG button in the area above where you type your posting Then you copy the URL of the photo to the Dialog box (be sure there is only one http) by using the links under the photos in blue, just click where it says "copy URL to clipboard" in blue.

Your picture should show up in your post

you can also use the "manage attachments" box below the text entering area to upload from your computer

Good luck
