Looking Good

It took a little doing, but with the help of MrsSchroder and my brother, I finally got my avatar and my signature looking good.

You will figure it out!!

Very nice...

Born2Saw, nice color :)

What color is that though?

Imran - 74 Convt

Thanks everyone
the color is called "corvette yellow"
bought it last may with 53,000 original miles
all numbers match, L48-auto
original paint, no flaws, execpt dime size chip on pass. door bottom.
inside is very good, but seats are starting to "sink"
no changes made, planning to get chambered exhaust
next spring.

It is suppose to be code 74 Dark Red, but I have not had next to any others to see if it matches. I think it is a little lighter than factory and a little more red (vs. maroon).

Is your 74 the "same" color?

This is another one I would like to figure out also. I will get it eventually though.

nice corvette born2saw wish I held out for a convertable. Your corvette is the first Ive seen with black wall tires.Im buying tires in the spring and cannot decide between white letters or black walls.

baseballcorvette

They are really, really, cheap tires put on the car by its previous owner. I plan on burning them off this spring and getting a good set of white lettered tires (Goodyear or BFG).

My 74 wasn't originally that color, it was a light blue. The previous owner had it shot by Maaco and I have no clue what guidelines he used to pick out this color. Nice color though, I like it.

Baseballcorvette, well, here's a good comparison for born2saw's vette as far as white letters vs blackwall..

Schweeeeet one Imran.....

I like the tail pipes and Firehawk Indy 500's. I was reading in the recent tire thread that several people really like their Firehawks. As I live in a suburb of Indianapolis, I may have the rethink the BFG or GY's.

In the larger pic. your car looks very close in color to my car (the color is a little off in my pics).

Hey maybe a road trip this sping where we can meet halfway and compare cars and tip a few. :beer
