Recently bought a very nice 62 Roadster, which needs very little, but has a few things about I'd like to improve. Wanted one when I got out of high school in 1962.....only took 42 years to get one! Looking at Eckler's, MidAmerica....don't see many parts for 62. Suggestions needed for:(1) shocks (2) taking some play out of the steering; (3)front suspension parts if the shimmy I feel turns out to be more than balancing, etc. (4) odometer repair. Rest of the car is very nice inside, outside and mechanically.

Any 62 owners in the St. Louis area??

need to be looking at places like Doc Rebuild, Long Island Corvette, Corvette Central, Paragon, Riks Corvette, Corvette America, Corvette World, Zip - for parts, not the C5 catalogues!!!!!!! for shocks and suspension, etc. check out Vette Brakes or Stainless Steel, especially if you are not looking to stay "stock"

Thanks for the info! I had a C3 before this one; found most of what I needed from Eckler's, etc., but I knew there were other sources!

BEST OF LUCK WITH YOUR NEW CAR

I stopped using ecklers years agao when they asked me to pay addtional charges to get my order processed TODAY No I dont mean overnight shipping they charged an addtional charge to process the order the same day.I cancelled that order and started using paragon and zip products.

Thanks for the headsup. I didn't really have any issues with Ecklers, but I only needed straightforward things for my C3. They actually helped me find a used wiper controller box through some links with a salvage dealer in New York, as I remember. That thing turned out to be hard to find!
