After acid washing my floor 3 times and allowing plenty of drying time I followed up with 4 coats of custom mixed concrete stain and 6 coats of high gloss sealer. All the paint is old school oil base since I wanted maximum gloss and this required days not hours of drying time between coats or stripes. Every time I open my garage door I feel like the time and work was worth it but at the time it was the project from hell.

Great job, very nice. :thumb

Great looking garage. :w The car looks beautiful also.

Hey Mike, your garage looks just as good over here as it did there!:upthumbs
As does your car my friend. I am so freaking glad that this project is done. Now if spring would just get here....SOON.

Beautiful garage...and Corvette! Nice!!! :cool!:

Great results. Looks like the work was worth it.

Tom,
Thanks!! I think that too now every time I open the door on my garage. However, when we were out there at 3:15AM inhaling the oil base paint and trying to make these stripes level I had an entire different opinion.

Garage.......Ark Corvette vanity plate.

Very nice. Blue is my color. Good job in the AM.

I'm working to collect a Corvette vanity plate from each state.
Got 50% and the project came to a screeching halt.
Maybe when in warms up.
Still need Ark. Any year plate with any reading/saying. Just
so it road a Corvette.
Thanks for any assistance.

My plate is indeed a vanity plate. It is: ETA B4U I can post a picture if you need one. Thanks for the compliment,
Mike

Mike. Thanks for the reply. I have a list of vanities. of which I will add
yours, but my project is to get an actual plate from each state. Any year.
Should have been a little clearer with my writing.

Bob,
I gotcha'. I will do a little poking around to see if I can dig you one up from the Natural State.

Color me jealous! I wish I had a garage for my Corvette related stuff... 'cause I've got a LOT of Corvette related stuff.

Nice job - it looks great!

Thanks Jane Ann. It was a pain in the rear to do but I dig it every time I drive in and open the door of my garage.

I bet you do Mike! You've created a garage worthy of housing your Vette!
And by the way... I love that 2004 Collector's Edition! :thumb
