Took my 81 out Thurs night, after having to charge battery.Ran great after I ran some of the old fuel out. However I had the air seviced last year with the new type refrigerant. When I tried it the compresor doesn't click on.Any ideas?

Nice to hear you took your 81 for its first spin this year Mr fatboy :)
The first option that comes into mind is that your refrigerant level is to low (leak somewhere) you can easily check this. Take out the rubber connector, its located in front of the ventilation blower at the firewall, it's on one of the tubes from or to the airco. Take a paperclip and connect the two poles inside the connector. If the airco pomp will turn on "click", then your refrigerant level is to low. When it still doesn't turn on i think its a problem inside your pomp.
