Last Saturday was the first time I showed the 63...that Sunday I left early on a flight for a vacation, so I did not have a chance to post the photos..

A lot of people look the car over and every comment was positive...several people made it a point to say that was the best 63 they have seen. I was quite pleased with all the comments and how people just loved the car(s), can't forget the 2002 too.

I thought you would like to see some photos...so here they are.

First one is the 63 and the 2002 side by side, I got to the show early just to get a good spot...basically away from most of the noice for the DJ...but under some shade of a small tree..

This is my favorite shot...

Here is a shot of the fronts of a few other newer Corvettes that joined us...

Finally the interior is cleaned up and thought you all would like to see the final product...

And the Engine...cover is to protect the hood paint from soon off the chrome air cleaner...

I was really pleased of the people's comments and plan to drive it tomorrow to the Manassas Corvette Cruise in....hope to see some of you there...

Thanks for lookin

Excellent shots of two great looking cars, congrats.

In the past I have learned that shade trees are great for us, and also to keep the temperature of our cars closer to the low end of the scale. Sadley extended stays under the trees, also has a negative effect on the cars surface with all the crap that falls from them. On quite a few occasions it has caused me to have to spend many hours cleaning off the surface after tar and sap had accumulated on my fresh paint. Just a thought.

Step, I know what you mean. At shows and cruises I've always liked the idea of having the shade for the car and myself but always decided to suffer under the heat of the sun because I didn't want to end up having to scrub tree sap off the car

Hi! Collin

Your 63 SWC is just Beautiful; every time I see pictures of your 63 I put my restoration in high gear, so keep the pictures coming. I would like to complete my 63 before the end of the year and need the motivation at times.

Looking forward to seeing your 63 SWC and all the CAC Corvette restorations at Carlisle.

I really only like RED cars....but I have to admit, your color of silver is VERY STRIKING...I may even make an acception some day in the fleet and allow a car of your shade in there....it is VERY nice......

I've decided that your '63 is over restored. It's just too nice.

Ship it at once to my garage for alterations. Please include the title. :D

My tree theory: Deciduous, yes. Evergreen, NO! Especially PINE TREES!

Collin I dream of waking up in the morning and finding that SWC in my garage next to my 61. I will email you my address if you want to make my dream come true ;LOL

As always the pictures are fantastic Collin and the compliments are just starting! You did a manificant job and the car is immaculate. Thank you for sharing the pics with us and we look forward to see you at Carlisle. Did you break out the good Scotch yet? (Like there's a bad one right!).
Cheers and congratulations again on both your cars:beer

What outstanding pics of an outstanding resto. The detail under the hood is fanfabulous and the seats look better than new...the skins look so tight and fresh. Congratulations on your labor of love.:BOW

Wow........!!!!!!!!!!! What a Beauty.....One nice 63.....!!!:beer
