Folks, emblems will be replacing the decals soon - they are on the design board now - looking to add them to the package ASAP :cool

This is a VERY EXCITING time to be involved w/ the Callaway cars :upthumbs

...wait 'till the other shoe drops :eek

Interesting Note

Ramp Chevrolet has been putting a ;) similar setup on C5's(for the past 5 years) here on Long Island & now the C6 & soon the Z06.They call it the "Rampage Edition"Go figure.

Supercharger is the first shoe..... the other kind of forced induction shoe would have to be turbos!!!!

It looks like the SC is the most bang for the buck.

I am studying Turbo technique for a few years now(read, my Callaway Turbo VW project and my previous owned Renault 5 Turbo cars) and everywhere I find the conclusion that Turbo technique wins from supercharging.

maybe SuperCharging is on its return now ??

Chris do you perhaps know why Callaway engineers choosed for this above a Turbo setup ? Turbo is their "sort of" speciality considering the projects of the past.

Also in Europe there is a new VW Golf named the GT (dunno if its also in USA)
and they use charger in combination with turbo.
the charger picks up in low rpm and Turbo takes over.
nice technique, a 1,4L engine takes 160 wheel HP stock and can be tuned to 220HP but without VW factory warranty.

love to hear from Callaway their argumentation, maybe you can ask ? or when someone from Callaway reads this they can chime in.

From the photos..it looks like Callaway got the Maggie to work with the six speed paddle shifter..

I have been under the impression the programing was not quite ready for the six speed paddle shifter (according to Tom Byrnes)

Great to see the six speed paddle shifter owners having supercharging available to them..

I'd say thats the hot ticket!

Thats about the only thing that tempts me to get out of my present ride...

The six speed paddle shifter with a supercharger is an amazing option to get if you dont want to pony up the 80 grand going price for a new C6 Z06..

Seems to me that the plumbing and even possibly heat complexities do not exist for a Supercharger vs. a Turbo setup.

My Jag XKR is supercharged.

However, Turbos FEEL more exciting.

...stay tuned
