Fixing to paint

looking at paints and codes 1975-76 show flame orange as only orange offered in these years the cars I'm refrencing don't look like the same orange. any input?

I'm pretty sure there was an "Ontario" orange as I had a '75 Blazer that I repained with that color in about '79. That particular color may have been from earlier models. Sorta "Pumpkin" in color.
