Not to come across as a smart ass but, The VERY first thing one should do is read the directions in the owner's manual! It's on page 3-10 in the 2010 book!

Yeah the instructions said to take a sharp object to take it apart. I just thought taking a jack knife to a $500 FOB was a backwards way of doing things. It worked but it tore up the FOB a bit. Thanks anyways.
