Also....whats great...actually a must have item...is the dot matrix static cling film you press on the inside portion of the targa top. www.ecklers.com part #26375. You can see thru it..but it cuts down the suns heat. I take it off in the fall & cooler months. Then come May...back on it goes

i am NOT recommending the following for a vette--i had a daily driver black ss monte carlo/t-tops with air that sorta worked-it was unbearable on a sunny day--in desparation i grabbed a rattle can of silver paint,did a quick masking job staying about 1/4'' away from glass edge, and painted the inside...took all the hurt away, not like the same car after that

Does it act as sort of a air tunnel pulling air through the car? Seems it would have that effect.

I agree as well...

I've had one on my targa only LT4 for over 2 years...and that's here in Phx. It has worked so well that I've more or less given up on the thought of getting the solid top.

Need to get the hatch vent though.
