Cleaning out the garage today, I came across a computer controlled Rochester Quadrajet that had been stored for a few years. I had forgotten I even had it. The numbers are 17084258 It also has 0824 and JHJ stamped below the 17 number. I may be mistaken , but I believe it was designated for a 78-79 Olds. The carb is good shape for thirty years old, with no corrosion. The butterfly shafts are tight and all the kickdown's and linkage are present It has the blue comp connecter. Also, the caps over the adjustment screws have NOT been removed. I have no need for it, and hate to see it head to the dump. Free to anyone who just wants to pay shipping from area code 31407. I can send pics if you'd like. Chris

i would be interested in it for my '81. i haven't been able to get mine to work as good as it should. i missed something when i rebuilt it. this would help me to get it running correctly. i'll see how much it is to ship, and get back with you in the next 2 days.

well, it won't be a bolt on, but, i should probaly get it anyway. it's gotta help. i now have all winter to get it right. with 2 carbs, i should be able to get one running right. do you think it would ship to the 48130 zip for about $30.00? thanks

I'll check with the post office for the cost on their "ship anywhere's for one price" in the morning. Thanks..Chris

HI Steve. The Post office has a flat rate box that will ship for 10.35 I'm taking one home tonite to make sure the carb fits. ( with padding , of course) If you want to send me your address, I can get it shipped off tomorrow, and we can take care of details later. Thanks Chris

Steve, Seems I've deleted your email address by accident. Just wanted to see if the carb had arrived. Give a shout when you can. Chris

it did it's perfect for what i want. you should get the money in a day or 2. of course, i can't use it the way it is because of the front inlet for the fuel line. the carbs parts are all intact and nothing is broken. way better shape than the carb on my vette. between the 2, i'll be able to build a good carb. thanks chris. steve
