Free museum stuff

When I bought my latest(2015 Z51) new in '16 I got all kinds of stuff in the mail. One of these was a 1 year membership in the Corvette Museum. I didn't receive anything so I called and they started sending me "updates" about the museum and other related "news" I didn't really expect or know what I was to receive and guess what. That's what I got useless updates. Let's see I got the car in March 2016 (it had 7 miles on it) I have received 2 emails. They really make me feel like I want to be a part of that. Why would they even bother? I should have understood, after all this is the same group that left a hole in the floor then raised the dues and entrance fee for people to see it.
