when i go to buy new freeze plugs for the front of my engine they are all 1 5/8 both sides of water pump. mine is not. it is 1 3/4 on passenger side of water pump and 1 5/8 on driver side of water pump. reason im replacing is the passenger side was leaking. it had a hole rotted in it. it was steel. the other and rest of them are brass. so why is one side larger? anybody else could confirm if thier engine is different or the same. i havent posted for awhile i have relocated to southern cali and have not had time for car.
