Just picked up a set of chrome Z06 wheels for the 92. I searched the site for recomendations for protecting them. In the past it seemed equally divided between wax and no wax.

Any new thoughts or products?

Thanks......................

Not being a chrome lover, I can only offer some thoughts. Chrome is a thin plating, and it tends to react with some things negatively. I would only use mild products made specifically for chrome. I suspect most chrome polishes will leave some kind of wax or protection behind. :)

I wash mine then Zaino. Looks great

just soap and water on mine. I've read where chrome is porous and will absorb anything put on it. Wax can work it's way under the chrome causing eventual pitting. Either way, I'm not taking any chances with my new chromes so it's plain old soap and water. Of course only driving the car on weekends helps..:)
