this is the other car I was interested in but the seller was away on vacation and I couldn't get my questions answered before the other cars listing ended. THIS IS NOT MY CAR, I just thought I would pass it along...
Anyway she didn't get her sell it now price of 10k and her reserve was higher than the highest bid (I think it was 7300) and is lowering the sell it now price to 9k. I thought I would pass it on....it still seems a bit steep to me but I am a rookie here... she told me this in a prior email:
The finish is ok, but it will need paint in the future. It is starting to spider crack as most do in the nose, has a crack in the fiberglass as well, the rear has some minor "flaking".
the seller, Brenda, tonight wrote me this:
Since the auction ended I have received contact from several people interested in my Corvette. The car is original. The VIN on Dash and the Door is 17878AS413633. My original plan was to reduce the price of my car by $1000 and then relist it on eBay this weekend. However, I found out that if I do an eBay "second chance offer", I do not have to pay relisting fees again. Therefore, my revised plan now is to reduce the "buy it now" price by $1000 and send someone who really wants to buy it a "second chance offer" to "buy it now" for $9000. I will send a second chance offer to the first person who wants it for the reduced "buy it now" price of $9000. Since we are moving I do need to sell the car as soon as possible and I want to see her go to a good home.
