I recently purchased a 2000 millennium yellow C5 from a dealership and posted on here that I had a series of issue with it, and felt it was a lemon. The dealership took care of ALL the problems for FREE (without me asking)... even though I had it for about a month, without a warranty, and bought it "As-Is".

I just want to say how much I love it now... especially being lowered slightly and with the new Imola Rims! :cool The handling is vastly improved, interior road noise level dropped, the ride is smoother, and the traction is vastly superior!! I also added the Corsa X-Pipe with Tiger Shark exhaust, and a Halltech Tunnel Ram Intake... along with a 3rd brake light flasher, rear chrome letters, and some very sweet grill inserts that had everyone that I met at a local parts place asking where I got them from... I am a very happy with my purchase and cannot stop grinning when I am driving it. The bonus is that my fiancé is totally behind the purchase of the rims... HELL, it was her idea to get the car in the first place! WHAT A WOMAN!!!! The only problem I have is the need for more chrome stuff and other goodies... this is worse then my Harley, and my 73 C3 roadster was pretty much done for quite some time, so buying goodies was off the radar... I just never knew there was so much you could get for a C5!!! *YIKES*

Forgot to mention

These rims are 19 X 8.5 in the front, and 20 X 10 in the rear... expensive but well worth it!

Nice looking C5. Even though mine is black I always liked yellow. Sweet rims too.

Grills

They mount kind of funky, but look sweet just the same... I put the same brand on my girlies Envoy...KILLER!!:D

Looks great lowered, mine is too. Will look even better if you remove nose and deck emblems and use the Corvette front plate insert, to hell with putting a front license plate on, I'll never do it.

As the place that we go to, MSI in Roseville says when they see a guy coming in with a new vette. Oh, you've got the starter kit! :L

There is soooo much more to add to it! I always say, if you are going to do it, do it right! We had to get new tires anyway. What the heck, might as well go with the great looking rims also! :)

Mods are like a drug, once you start, it's hard to stop. We're already looking in Ecklers and Mid America for the next purchase! :D

My sweet Moose, you make me so happy, I want to make you happy and I of course, love the Vette! :cu OK, better stop before I start making people sick

Donna

Thanks...

Vette Man and Pac Man for the kind words... the addiction is fresh yet so STRONG!!!! The fun has only begun!!!

And of course thanks to my great woman... everyone needs one! :beer

Pac Man...

Yeah the stock ones were used... the guys at MSI made a few quick adjustments for me when they were doing the rims/tires and exhaust. I have driven the last few days at this height and feel it's perfect. So now I want to do a 4-wheel alignment to protect my investment on tires... even though it seems to track better then it did before.

Ride Safe and Save The Wave!:w

Welcome to Donna! aka: DLJ

Here's a welcome for Donna, I always enjoy seeing more women get involved in the Corvette world. Moose - I'm glad the dealership worked with you to make you a satisfied customer. They're happy that you're happy...and you're just happy driving your vette!
Heidi :w

Thanks Heidi! :w Being involved in the Corvette world is like a family. It's an instant camaraderie.

Beware ..mod fever is a real sickness. The Imola's are sweet, I saw some down at the shop yesterday. Terry & Mark rock!! Take it to Mark for the alignment.
