What should the distance be between the ground and the front wheel arches? Who much space should there be between the top of the tire and the fender?
I just spent the winter doing a front end rebuild on my 1972 LS5. I used all new components. . .springs, shocks, bushings, ball joints, bearings, the list goes on and on. Just put the car down on the ground for the first time today. . .took it for a cruise around the block. . .and parked it in the garage. (NOTE: I HAVE NOT TORQUED THE CONTROL ARM END CAPS YET) And I think the car looks a little "low". On one side I'm at 25.6" off the ground. On the other I'm approximately 26" off the ground. I was thinking it should be closer to 27 on either side. . .but I'm not getting that. Just curious as to what people think it should be. . .or what other people have.
