Question: Front Licence plate fitting--C4

Hi can anyone tell me how to remove the corvette insert from the front bumper so I can fit a front licence plate.
I'm only asking this as I have finally got my first corvette and need to fit a front plate and don't want to damage anything when fitting the plate.

It has been a long time since I've done mine but I seem to remember there are two screws at the top of the filler. And I think there are tabs on the bottom of the filler that fit into slots in the bumper.

exactly....

hard to see, the 2 small screws are under the lower edge of the filler panel. You may have to pry the edge up with something to access them. Then the top edge has a tab that hooks in a slot. Remove lower screws, pull bottom out and top drops away.

Hold on to the filler panel when you go to car shows it will fit over your license plate to hide it. Just don't forget to take it off before you leave. I have a fabric bag I had made to keep mine in so when i'm at a show I put the bag on the drivers seat so I don't forget.
