In my quest to find a nice, manual trans 92' - 96' C4, I prefer the wider 17 X 9.5 front wheels of the 92', not the 17 X 8.5 of the 93' - 96' models. My question:

If I had an extra pair of stock rear 17 X 9.5 wheels from a 93' - 96' model, could I place them on the front of one of those model years without problems? I'm thinking I could, since I believe the fronts and rears were interchangeable on the 92'.

Thanks for your help!

Wheels

The wheels in the picture are 9.5" all around. Bought it this way (used).

Yes!

In fact the Z07/Z51 cars from 93-96 had 17x9.5 all around. Just like my 92 did. Go for it. They work just fine.

If course if you buy a Z07/Z51 car, you should get the 17x9.5 all around anyway.

You may want to buy a set of 275/285 tires for the wider wheels also instead of using the original 255's from the 8.5 wheels.
