front speaker covers

Does anyone know how to take the front speaker covers off of a 90. The carpet is all one piece to the cover and i dont really want to just pull it off. Any hints would be great.

If its like my '95, you have to remove the entire door sill. Its no biggie - just a few screws. Try this website for help...

But I believe that is the bottom line - don't try removing the speaker cover itself.

You have to take the sill off and the side cover not real hard then the speaker is in the enclosure. Are you going to keep the Bose speakers? or change them out? I was able to pull my Bose speakers out and put in a nice pair of 5x7s

thanks guys i managed to get them off. That site was really helpful.
Im puttin new speakers in. I put new 6x9's in the rear and just have to do the fronts. Did the 5x7's fit rather easily? Was alot of cutting necessary?

I just mounted mine to the inside of the speaker grill.
