Front springs

I am working on my 66 frame off resto. I need too know what the diffrence is between a spring for a bb with air and with out? I't seem like there are plenty of aftermarket spring but not many stock replacements. I want the right spring the first time around. Any help and experience you have had would be a great help. Also where to buy the spring. Thanks Brent

By the way, I just ordered new front springs for my SB '67 from Paragon and am expecting them to arrive this week.
Mid America also sells them.
