I recently replace the stablizer links on my 75. After I removed both old ones, I had trouble installing the new ones. I installed one side, only catching one or two threads, and the other side I couldn't even get started. I had two tourque one side and use a jack on the other side, just to get the nut started. I thought that the swaybar ends should have been equidistant, on both sides, to the lower control arm. It doesn't look like Bubba tried to jack up the car, by the swaybar. Is this normal?

BRUSSO, maybe the sway bar is even and straight. the lower control arms may not be sitting even. just a thought.

Brusso, Sounds like the bar is bent, having to load the front suspention to install the LINKS is not normal!!!!!!!! Remove both links & measure things & compare side to side, I think you'll find the problem!!!!!! :w

It makes sense that it would be the bar. I had the jack stands supporting the frame and let the wheels hang because I thought that it may be from having the stands at a slightly differrent location on the lower control arms. I had the same problem either way. Thanks as usual for the help.
