Well, as the title suggests I need to know how to do the front toe adjustment on my 78. When I was taking the upper A arms off I didn't notice the shims until it was to late to see how many were in either joint. Any help anyone could give would really help.

Tom

Tom, the shims at the upper control arm shafts control caster and camber, not toe-in; just put 1/4"-3/8" of shims on each bolt as a rough setting and tighten the nuts until you get to the alignment shop where they can re-set caster, camber, and toe-in properly.

Tom, Might you have some old pictures that show that area of the front end??? If not, Go with Johns idea!!!! Gotta be aligned anyway.:w
