Hi

Does any body have a wiring diagram for the turn/parking lights?

I also need a place to ground and connect to an ignition wire.

What l really would need is the proper colors of the wire's.

Thanks

Alan

Hi

l need this to instal daytime running light's.

Thanks

Alan,

I'm not totally sure, but I think the turn signal wire for the left side is LIGHT BLUE, and the turn signal wire for the right side is DARK BLUE. You will cut those wires and connect the black wire of one of the black/red pairs (on the module) to the cut wire going to the turn signal, and connect the red wire of that pair to the cut wire going back to the harness. Then you run the extra paired wire to the other side of the car and do the same thing.

You connect the blue wire from the module to the BROWN wire of the light bulb socket where you have the module mounted, and connect the green wire from the module to the BLACK wire of the same socket.

For the IGN connection, you use the extra white wire to connect the YELLOW module wire to the PINK WITH BLACK STRIPE wire coming off of the cooling fan relays. On the 1990, the relays are mounted on the left side of the fan shroud. I believe it's the forward most of the two relays. This is probably the same on your 1996.

Do you have a test light? See if you can ID the wires, then let me know what you find.

Pink wire!!

HI Lawrence

l've located all the wire's except the pink wire with the black stripes, but l will look again tomorrow when l get home from work.

I plan on using the most forward relay to splice into. All l saw was a pink wire in both relay's, but l could be wrong. And l hope they are the relay's. lt appears to be two small boxes sttsched to the fan shroud.

Blazer sent me a detailed e-mail, which helped a lot.

Thanks.

lf l have any doubts, l will have to wait until l get back from my vacation because my son and his future bride will be watching my house while l'm gone and will be using all of my cars including my vette.
l would hate to screw things up for him.

Thanks again.

Alan

p.s. l will be showing the DRL's at my next corvette club meeting, the first wed of Aug,

Blazer is the one who told me about the PINK/BLACK STRIPE wire, so keep looking, it's probably there. Twist the pink wire that you found and see if the stripe is on the back side.

I wish MY dad had a Corvette ;) although I'm sure he'd let me use his LeSabre...

Pink/black wire?????????

Lawrence/Blaxer

The only wire that is close, is a solid pink wire, and l found a pink/black stripe wire near the driver's side underneath by the wiper.

All of the relays attached to the fan shroud have thin pink wires and l twisted them to make sure l was not missing anything. Now the relays are two grey plastic boxes attached to it, correct.

The driver's side turn/park lamp has a blue wire, brown and black.

On the passenger side it is dark blue or navy, with a brown and black wire.

l will try again tomorrow night.

Thanks a lot, l have to have this down pat when l bring this up at my corvette club the first wed of Aug.

On the driver's side, you will connect the red/black pair of wires from the module to the light blue wire. On the passenger's side, you will connect the other red/black pair to the dark blue wire. Once you decide which side of the car to mount the module, you will connec the blue module wire to the brown wire at the socket, and connect the green module wire to the black wire at the socket.

Do you have a test light? Check the pink wire to see if it comes on with the ignition.
