I'm listing this car for a friend of mine. He has it on the club web page and no where else yet. Please contact him and not me about the car. Below is his text and picture....

I am a member of the Boardwalk Corvettes of Atlantic City and have a 1961
Vette for sale and desire to purchase a C-5.
I purchased the car in June of 1978 and drove it until May of 1980. At
that time, the engine was rebuilt. It was on the road until the fall of
1983 and then was garage stored until the spring of 1995. The car then
went to Rob English of Restoration Connection, Laureldale, New Jersey to
be restored. He had the car until May of 1996. I returned it to Rob in
January of 1997 to have the engine compartment done. That completed the
body on restoration. We felt that the frame was in good condition. When I
purchased the car it had 118,000 miles on the odometer and today it has
124,000 miles. It has been driven approximately 1500 miles since
restoration. The car is in show condition, the body is sateen silver with
white cove, white soft top, blue interior (the blue interior really makes
the car). All gauges, clock and wonderbar radio are in excellent working
condition.
I have all receipts as proof of what was done during the restoration
process from Restoration Connection.
In 1961, there were 10,939 Vettes produced. This car is #9341. There were
1455 power glide cars produced that year so it is an uncommon Vette. Vin
number is 10867S109341. Engine suffix is FO531DG, DG is the 1961 power
glide suffix for 230 HP automatic, the engine and transmisson are both original equipment.
The car has been used in the Miss America Organization parade on the
Atlantic City Boardwalk and the Miss Ocean City parade, Ocean City
Boardwalk.
I have two owner’s guide, the original and a new one. Plus, a
reproduction window sticker from GM.
Asking price: $52,000.00.
