What do you guys use or recommend in the way of fuel additives such as those claiming to clean out your injectors, etc? Are there good ones on the market? Do some of them do more harm than good? I have always been kinda skeptical and havn't used them, but I've never really done much research or even much asking about them. Thoughts, comments? Thanks!

Most of todays premium fuels have cleaning agents as part of the mix. Clearing the carbon as we sometimes joke about is probably the best way to keep things from building up, on the injectors awell as the combustion chambers. But if a bottle is needed, REDLINE makes a good product.

3M injector cleaner has had positive reviews - I know you disc. the fuel pump and essentially run the car on a can of this and it cleans 'em out - A bit different than a fuel "additive" but has the desired effect...

Hope this helps :beer

Thanks guys! Great help. I'll try one out and see how it goes. I'm getting the pressure loss in each cylinder checked next Friday just to make sure things are okay and to see if I can get any clues about the oil consumption. Plus a shot of one of these products, who knows, I might suprise myself again at how fast this car goes! I am going to schedule a dyno test (mostly just for fun) after that. I called last week to see if I could get it scheduled before the cylinder pressure check - to do one before and one after - but they were booked for 2 weeks.
