I have developed a fuel leak. I traced the leak to a spot in the line that has been replaced. They used steal line with two compression fittings on both ends. I have a leak in one of the fittings so i was going to replace the small section with steel line with the couplings on both ends. The system is pressurized so can i bleed the pressure off at the fuel rails or somewhere else. Once i get the new line in place the fuel system will have been exposed to air. How do i purge the system. Can i just bleed the air off the same way as the fuel. I am assuming the fuel pump comes on when the key is turned, so if someone turns the key and i can bleed the air off until fuel spits out all over.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
