I have a 2009 standard model vette with 25,680 miles on it, not the original owner, drove from Texas to Fl parked in friends garage and there was a very strong gas smell took it to a dealer inJacksonville and they determined there was a crack in the fuel pump module $3000.00 dollars later it was fixed, anyone else have issues with the flange cracking on the 2009 pump?
Thanks in advance

Yikes.....what is that about.....On an 09 that should have been covered by the 5 year 100K warranty. The 5 year would be close but if you go through customer service you can bitch and moan some and that sometimes will get results. If its done nicely of course. I am having trouble with my fuel sending unit on my 10 GS. In 2010 the fuel system was not included in the 5/100K drive trane warranty. I buy nothing but Chevy's and have for years so I leaned on them a bit since I was only out of 3/36K warranty by 3 months when it started to go bad. It cost me $100 bucks up front and they are going to fix it. It goes in next week.

....and that still sounds way expensive......is it a 6M or 6A.......I'm thinking 1500 to 2K should have covered it.......just saying.....glad its fixed though.....:thumb
