Is this a normal occurence? I am not sure if the fuel pump is not enough for the increase in fuel demand. I am running 24# injectors, and the highest I can achieve with fuel pressure is 52psi.

Thanks,
Craig

When did you change the fuel filter last?

Last summer

The car seems to be running better with a mixture of 110 and 93. I raised the octane to 99. However I am still concerned about this problem. I am going to scan the car again tonight. Under heavy acceleration it almost feels like it is running out of gas. I certainly do not want any lean conditions.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

That seems like lots of fuel pressure. Is your motor stock ??
24# injectors would require less fuel pressure than the stock 22# injectors. The ECM will compensate the extra fuel only during closed loop, during WOT and cold start up, your going to be running rich.
Stock fuel pressure is about 42# with vacuum disconnected (same as WOT)

Again, if the motor is stock and your running 52# of fuel pressure on 24# injectors, you will be waaay rich and loosing power during WOT.
It would feel like your motor is running out of gas ;)
Just food for thought :beer

Just seen a thread that showed all your mods. Most of what i said may still be true in your case. Too much fuel can be a HP killer. Too bad you don't have a wideband datalogger, or do you :)

I have some software that I will hook up to the car. I am curious to see how the car does run at wide open throttle. I am also going to set the timing back to 6 degrees, I retarded to 0 when I was having a spark knock issue.
