If the present day cheap gas is causing problems with the fuel senders, why aren't older cars experiencing the same problems? If there is a difference in old stlye senders and new ones, why did they change and why not go back?

HI there,
Many things create these concerns.
First, formulations of the fuel.
Next, programming of the computers that monitor these systems.
Next, sensing units themselves.
While there is more and more computers, that make Corvette run as well as they do, there is also intricacies that we cannot get past, like sulfur content in the fuels, creating voltage spike problems that the computers do not like.
There is presently a recalibration for all 97-03 cars, without the FFS fuel system, that will address 95% of the problems out there with c5 fuel gauges.
Allthebest, c4c5:hb

Thanks
