FYI 94-96 Seat Cushions

This may be old news for some but I just discovered (thanks Pete94) that the seat cushions in my car are easily removable. There is a metal loop directly under the front, middle of each seat that can be released from it's catch.

I took both of them out to perform a better cleaning and conditoning than could be done while in the car. (Lexol Products)

Now the best part. They are interchangeable side to side. This is a great way to even out the wear on these delicate interiors.

Note: I have the standard seats, not sport seats. I do not know if this can be done with the sport seats but I'm sure someone will respond with that information.

It can be done with the sport seats as well, on my 94. There are two straps going from front to back under that cushion, which aren't too difficult to remove and replace as well for good access.
